Responsibilities:
Greater Waltham Arc (GWArc) is seeking a Chief Program Officer to oversee four well established programs - Day Hab, Employment & CBDS, AFC and Recreation. Candidates must have exceptional supervisory skills and ability to manage the programming, compliance and growth of these agency programs. Organizational skills include attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects, personnel experience, outreach to funding sources and oversight of program space in two Waltham facilities. The Chief Program Officer also plans staff trainings as required/requested for workforce development. The Chief Program Officer will report to the CEO and is responsible for ongoing daily operations of the programs. Experience in Survey & Certification & CARF essential. Computer literacy and car/valid driver's license necessary.
Qualifications:
Must have strong oral and written communication skills with participants, program staff, families and other service providers.

Director of ECB

Responsibilities:
The Director of ECB is responsible for the overall direction and implementation of the combined Day Habilitation/Community Based Day Services program, Waltham School to Work Transitions program, and Independent and Group Supported Employment programs. This includes immediate supervision of program managers, case managers and off-site supervisors. The Director will be responsible for the development, implementation and evaluation of all necessary administrative, programmatic and staff systems. This includes oversight of facility maintenance and continued support and development of community relationships. Further responsibilities include timely maintenance of federal and state mandates for all required documentation as well as staff support in the development and implementation of innovative programing in support of GWArc's participants with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in human services, business/marketing or a related field, with a minimum of 5 years' experience in human services or employment services. Candidate must have supervisory experience. Master's degree preferred.

Knowledge of ID/DD populations and community service system. Current driver's license and car. Excellent organizational,communication, coordination and leadership skills. Able to effectively develop and lead a team and be able to work as part of GWArc's Management Team.

The Site Supervisor has overall responsibility for the management of a Group Supported Employment Job Training site. Provide training and support to the site participants in order to promote their personal and professional growth. Responsibilities include maximizing the employment skills of participants, providing case management and support services. Maintain excellent relations with the Host Company. Participate as part of the Employment Team.
Qualifications:
BA/BS degree or High School diploma and two years of related experience. Good writing skills, computer literate, strong organizational and communication skills. Driver's license and car.

Other Qualifications: Vocational services background preferred but will train.

Responsibilities:
To assist individuals to participate and benefit from Community Based Day Supports (CBDS) Program activities including Day Habilitation program therapeutic services and Community Based Day Support program activities including community access and integration based activities and associated skills such as transportation training, community safety, social inclusion and leisure and recreational activities through the implementation and development of individualized programs, plans, interventions and other scheduled program activities in a variety of settings. Maintain a case load including ISP/DHSP development and implementation and case management paperwork requirements. To enhance participants' independence, dignity, safety, personal and self care activities.
Qualifications:
B.S. in a Psychology, Special Education or related field. In lieu of a college degree a High School diploma or GED with 2 CBDS years paid work experience in a case management/direct care role with persons with Developmental or Intellectual Disabilities. Functional capability to lift, transfer, pivot and bear participants' weight in a safe manner. Ability to implement multiple behavioral plans/individualized interventions/programs in a variety of settings/environments. Ability to meet paperwork deadlines and requirements. Commitment to community inclusion and upholding the dignity of people with disabilities. Ability to obtain/maintain certification in non-violent restraint, CPR/First Aid and Human Rights Officer training. Ability to work in a team environment. Good time management, organizational and communication skills (both oral and written). Valid driver's license required, access to a car, ability to drive agency van.

The Developmental Disabilities Assistant assists participant(s) to participate and benefit from Day Habilitation activities through the implementation of Program routines, and other daily scheduled program activities; enhances participants' independence, dignity and safety by assisting participant(s) in personal and self care activities and during transitions to and from program activities. The Developmental Disabilities Assistant is expected to perform job duties consistent with GWArc policies and procedures and participant individualized plans and interventions.
Qualifications:
Associates Degree and 1-2 years of paid or unpaid experience working with people with disabilities or in a care giving/teaching role or H.S./GED with 3-5 years related experience.

Other Qualifications: Functional capability to lift, transfer, pivot and bear participant(s) weight in a safe manner. Able to work effectively within a variety of settings. Commitment to community inclusion and upholding the dignity of people with disabilities. Flexible and able to respond to a variety of requests.
